I thought my friends just didn’t want to hear about it.

Here is an experiment Jamie did:

1) Thought (rate how strong thoughts are from 0 to 10):
If I say something about feelings, my friend will change the topic (9/10). They will not want to catch up again (9/10).
2) Experiment: How can I test the thought?
Talk to a close friend about how I am feeling.
3) Results:
My friend did not change the topic, we are meeting again next week. I felt less stressed after talking.
4) What I learned:
My thought was not true that my friend will not want to see me again.
5) New thought (rate how strong thoughts are from 0 to 10):
Friends listen if you talk about feelings (9/10). I feel less stressed after talking (9/10).

You can see how Taylor, Riley and Jamie changed their thinking.

After doing an experiment think - how can I build on this? Jamie thought: I can try the experiment with another friend?
