Part 7

Memories, pictures in your head, problem-solving and family

Welcome to part 7!

So far, we have discussed:

  • Grief is normal.

  • Drawing a picture of grief, memory stones and bracelets.

  • Doing more fun activities and detective work for blaming yourself.

  • Experiments.

  • Changing thinking with diaries.

  • Working with the loss.

Today we are going to discuss memories and pictures in your head.

Not everyone has hard memories and pictures in your head. This applies when someone close to you has died, rather than other areas (e.g., parental divorce).

If you find the first part doesn’t apply, please skip forward to page 5 to problem-solving, or getting on with family.

Tip. Any time you are feeling really upset, or need a break, try some of the ‘cool down activities’.
