PLANNING STEPS TO WORK with THE LOSS: YOUR TURN

 
Step 1: Write down the thought, picture in your head, memory, or place you are going to look at.
Step 2: Break it down into smaller sections. Arrange them from easiest to hardest (0-10).

 
 
 

How did you find doing that? Lin’s list was long. You can try a shorter list.  Find what works for you best.

It can feel upsetting, but can help to think about steps to gradually let in painful thoughts and feelings.
