Step 1: Do a pie-chart for how much you think you are to blame for the loss.

Step 1: Aside from you, what are all the possible contributing factors to the situation?
Make a list of everything and everyone you can think of.
Think about what a friend would say to you if you mentioned you felt responsible for the situation.
Think about what you would tell a friend who said they felt responsible for a loss.
Step 2: Think about all of the factors you’ve listed: how much does each contribute to the situation?
Add all the answers to question 1 and attribute a slice of the pie to each factor.
