Remember in part 3 where we talked about how thoughts are not facts?

Did you find out anything when you did detective work on self-blame? 

An experiment can be used to test thoughts to see if they are true.

When we test thoughts, we can find out:

  • the thought is not true

  • what happens is not as bad as we predicted

Changing thoughts can help you feel better.
